Named after London, but serving up some thoroughly American plates, this grill in the heart of Leicester Square promises barbecued fare in epic proportions. The seriously meaty menu features double-dipped ribs with a selection of sauces ranging from smoky to super-hot (which comes with a disclaimer), steaks in a variety of cuts and sizes – from 8-ounce to a whopping 30-ounce rib-eye – and the unusual, but very popular 'tinburger'.
We’re not entirely sure why the burgers are served in tins, except perhaps to contain all the fillings, of which there are many. The mac, cheese and bacon burger, for example, is a 12-ounce prime beef burger topped with macaroni and cheese, crispy bacon, house ‘slaw and more cheese, and encased in a brioche bun. It also comes with fries and Carolina sauce for dipping or pouring. Other items on the menu include large cooked breakfasts, nachos, seafood, and some monstrous freakshakes.
