About
Situated in the heart of Cheddar and just a brief stroll from the renowned Cheddar Gorge and caves, you'll find The Bath Arms. The restaurant takes pride in their consistent accolades, boasting 2AA rosettes for the restaurant. Under the guidance of head chef Mark Horton and his dedicated team, The Bath Arms offers an ever-evolving, high-quality gastro pub menu featuring exceptional à la carte dishes and hearty pub classics. The restaurant’s commitment to using seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients of the utmost quality, with full traceability, ensures a memorable dining experience. The restaurant itself boasts a modern and inviting atmosphere, complete with a dog-friendly section for our four-legged friends.
The lunch menu begins with a selection of divine starters. Choose from a creamy wild mushroom and cave aged cheddar bruschetta, pea pesto and rocket dish, some salt and pepper squid with kimchi and Korean BBQ sauce, and crispy chilli beef or halloumi with Asian slaw, cashews and crispy rice noodles. For your main, choose from cider battered fish, with thick cut chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce, beetroot and goat’s cheese gnocchi with charred sweetcorn, broccoli, butternut squash, sweet potato and maple puree, and a buttermilk chicken burger served with chicken gravy, chipotle mayo, tomato, onion, lettuce, fries and coleslaw.
You won't want to forget about dessert, even at lunchtime, not with the delicious dishes that are on the menu. Choose from strawberry and clotted cream cheesecake with scone crumb and strawberry ice cream, sticky toffee pudding with hot fudge sauce and candied walnuts and a selection of West Country cheese with biscuits and truffle honey.
On Sundays, indulge in a delicious roast topside of beef, roast chicken with a pig in a blanket or nut roast. Each is served with roast potatoes, greens, red cabbage, carrot, crispy leeks and kale, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
