Ate in pod food came out not covered an was raining on it hence cold over 2 hours for meal to arrive am when it did it was dry an tasteless hence hardly touched by all an at a cost of over £200 a disgrace. We were given refund of drinks an offered a desert that did not compensate for my son whose birthday it was goin into main building to complain an ruining his day. Having telephoned next day was told manager would call back which of course never happened. I shall be very go back an shall make sure social media is aware. SHOCKING

Square Meal managed to book me table for 2 at 11.00am in the morning of Mother's Day for a 1.00pm table at The Anchor in Hullbridge. Fantastic service at such late notice! Very impressive! The meal was fantastic and the service and atmosphere really first class!

Avoid

Very poor meal. My steak was full of fat and very chewy, unable to digest. Spoke to the waitress about my meal but had no feedback. Will not bother going back…should not of paid in hindsight… Best of all not even an apology for the food even though i was paying £23 for the steak…
