Sugo82 is an Italian family kitchen in Hackney that specialises in fresh pasta and fritti. The doors are open between Wednesday and Sunday during the hours of 12 and 9pm, and for a real trattoria experience, you can dine in the private room upstairs. The team at Sugo82 are all about working with regenerative farmers wherever possible, so they love to serve natural, healthy and delicious meals. They carefully balance their meat consumption and import as little as possible. In fact, the restaurant's founder Matteo is also the founder of Higher Farm, and so you’ll find that lots of the produce comes straight from farm to table.

The menus are rotated seasonally, and there are always some rather unique specials, but the popular classics include tomato and mozzarella arancini, frittatina di pasta and panzerotti, with pasta dishes of carbonara, pesto, ragu bolognese and a mushroom and truffle pairing. Typically, the desserts you'll find on the menu include Giulia's tiramisu, the house Nutella bombolini and cannolo classico.
