Stanley’s Bar & Grill is a theatre style restaurant, and a great spot to meet up with loved ones and enjoy some delicious food. If you like a bit of theatre, you can choose to watch the kitchen team work up their magic in the kitchen, or take a seat that makes sure you get wonderful views over the waters of Stanley Dock. The bar and grill serves everything from afternoon tea, to light lunches and evening meals, and has a great wine list on offer. Each of the dishes is designed in house to reflect seasonal and local produce, so you know that you’ll be getting a great meal at Stanley’s Bar & Grill.
For your meal, begin with a flaked ham terrine with caramelised pineapple puree, radish salad and charred brioche, or a scorched goats cheese salad with blueberry coulis and honey roasted pecan nuts. If you fancy a lighter starter, try the homemade soup of the day with a crusty bread roll and farm butter or some assorted charred bread with olive oil and balsamic. The main event includes half a rotisserie chicken with sage and pancetta stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and thyme gravy, a crispy belly pork and Toulouse sausage with white bean cassoulet and herb crumble, or braised short rib with smoked garlic and truffle mash, honey glazed carrot and parsnip and a jus. There is also a pasta selection, which includes a penne arrabiata, slow cooked lamb shoulder ragu and a roast chicken penne, and a plant based and meat free menu, featuring a grilled kofta kebab, some salads and pasta dishes, and 'beef' burgers. Of course, there are plenty of steaks with sauces and sides, too.
