Hella Souli’s light and elegant café is an impressive affair where the bread is fashioned by artisan French bakers, ingredients are thoughtfully sourced and the coffee comes from Sant’ Eustachio in
Rome. The choice of salads varies from poached salmon, prawn and baby spinach served with crispy bacon to a satisfying mix of quinoa and lamb’s lettuce with crushed cashew nuts and dried
cranberries, while sandwiches are packed with unusual combos such as roast corn-fed chicken with lemon yoghurt and tarragon leaves. The flat whites are delicious and you mustn’t leave without
trying the Monachella – a bittersweet coffee and chocolate drink topped with whipped cream. There’s also a small but sumptuous selection of cakes. Be warned that seating is limited – so it might be
best to opt for a takeaway.
