The Burger and Lobster company have dropped the burger bit with their new outfit in Binney Street – Smack Deli only deals in lobster. Expect yours to come in a brioche bun and to be one of four flavours- a Japanesey Seven Samurai, with pickled ginger and cucumber relish; Happy Ending, an Asianish concoction with coriander and fish sauce; a Mexican, slighty overburdened with spicy mayo and gherkin, or a Californian with avocado and lime. It’s fun and inexpensive and being opposite Selfridges, makes a great pitstop. While you’re about it, try some of their lobster chowder or the delicious courgette fritters, and wash it down with wines and craft beers on tap. It’s mostly take-away, but there’s space to eat in as well if you need to rest the pins.
