Söderberg is a Scandinavian bakery and coffee shop that's passionate about sourdough bread and traditional Swedish baking. Established in 2007 in Edinburgh where it has an enthusiastic and loyal following, the team opened its first London bakery on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich in June 2024.
Its coffee, roasted in Edinburgh to its own recipe with notes of caramel and chocolate, pairs perfectly with a Swedish cinnamon or cardamom bun for a classic 'Fika'. Sit back in the beautiful, Scandinavian interior and watch bakers spin buns and shape sourdough loaves, or pick up a loaf of oven-warm sourdough bread and a coffee and bun to go!
Söderberg is open all-day for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The menu is testament to its passion for sourdough and features sourdough pizzas, hot and cold open sandwiches, toasties, filled baguettes and sourdough platters. The large brunch selection includes its famous Swedish Meatball Brunch, a delicious dish of homemade Swedish meatballs, perfectly poached eggs, sourdough, walnut and basil pesto and chilli jam. You'll also find sweet and savoury Scandi-style waffles, from smoked salmon and creme fraiche to maple syrup and hazelnuts, and continental breakfast trays on the menu. These include a selection of classic Swedish breakfast items with a glass of cold pressed orange juice.
To drink, Söderberg offers an assortment of wine, craft beers and cocktails, including signature serves like the Cinnamon Margarita (tequila, akvavit Klar, cinnamon and lime) and the Kladkakka Negroni (Akvavit, Cynar, vermouth and chocolate).
