Salvi’s is a traditional family run Italian restaurant and deli, named after the owner’s father, with a menu inspired by the owner’s mother and by the wonderful produce of their hometown of Campania, Italy. Conveniently located in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Salvi’s is open for drinks, antipasti, and traditional Italian meals.
Salvi’s is light and contemporary, with traditional wooden seating and plenty of lovely personal touches showcasing the strong family roots of the restaurant.
If you’re looking for lunch you will find a good selection of antipasti, panini and pizza. Panini dishes include many favourite fillings such as mozzarella and pesto, Parma ham and Italian sausage. The restaurant serves lunch dishes until 5pm.
When it comes to dining and socialising you will find plenty of authentic, delicious looking dishes and sharers on the menu with nibbles and starters such as homemade focaccia with tomatoes and garlic, Parma ham with gorgonzola, burrata with truffle oil and calamari served with courgette.
If you’re looking for authentic pasta dishes you will find lots of choice including Pasta Nonna Teresa which is a dish served with pesto, pistachio and pancetta, and Pasta Con Crema di Patate e Salsiccia which is a pasta dish served with potatoes and Italian sausage. You will also find lots of tempting risottos, pizzas, salads and more.
If you’re looking for desserts there are plenty of delicious sounding dishes on the menu such as the Salvi’s cheesecake topped with chocolate and pistachio cream, and a traditional cannoli dish served with fresh ricotta.
Salvi’s also serves cocktails and has a good drinks menu, perhaps you might like to go for a refreshing granita or a chilled glass of prosecco – the perfect accompaniment to a Salvi’s Italian platter.
