Finsbury Park slurpers can find some salvation in this joint dreamed up by Colin Tu (formerly part of the Big Dirty Burger operation), his second after Salvation in Noodles Dalston. SIN aims to give westernised Vietnamese food an authentic spin, with ‘hot’ and ‘cold’ noodles topping the bill – perhaps bun bo hue (beef brisket in hot and spicy lemongrass soup) or bun neu with crab, prawns and pork belly. There are also a handful of ‘social’ street-food small plates for sharing, such as crispy chicken wings tossed in fish sauce with crispy garlic or crunchy papaya with deep-fried anchovies and lotus-root crisps.
