Special Offers

Nestled in the centre of Kent, Royal Tunbridge Wells offers both locals and visitors a unique slice of history, culture and natural beauty. There is plenty to do in this small town, with the popular destination perfect for those seeking everything from theatre shows to countryside hikes. Located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are lots of excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and other outdoor activites. On your way, you’ll find stunning views, vibrant flora and fauna, and rural pubs which are great for a pit stop lunch.

Dating back to the early 17th-century, Royal Tunbridge Wells was born out of the Chalybeate Spring, a natural spring that was rumoured to have healing properties and attracted many visitors from far and wide. If you’re visiting for a long weekend, where better to kick things off than at the Pantiles, an area lined with colonnades, boutique shops and quaint cafes? Travel a short way out of town and you’ll find the stunning 78-acre Dunorlan Park, where you can stroll amongst its gardens and walking trails, or hire a paddleboat and venture into its large lake.

Whatever you end up doing, make sure to stop off at one of Royal Tunbridge Well's stellar restaurants, whether it's for a chilled brunch, light lunch or a show-stopping dinner.
