R&Bs is a family run restaurant and karaoke bar in central Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. The decor is plush and creates an inviting feel, while the dancefloor is sizable and routinely packed.
Foodwise, there’s something to please most tastes. Starters include prawn cocktail, soup of the day and veggie or chilli beef nachos, which can be upgraded to sharing sizes. Next there’s house classics. Here you can choose from the likes of macaroni cheese, battered haddock goujons and a selection of homemade pies. There’s also hunter’s chicken and a rotating vegan dish of the week. Grill options are equally plentiful, such as the gammon steak, 6oz beef burger and veggie burger.
Lighter dishes that are perfect for lunch take the form of sandwiches, paninis and baked potatoes. Sandwich fillings include egg mayo, ham and cheese and tuna mayo. The standout panini is haggis and brie, blending together French, Italian and Scottish cuisine. There’s also brief and cranberry, ham and cheese and tuna and cheese. A similar range of toppings are available for baked potatoes, as well as prawn marie rose and baked beans and cheese.
Rounding out the food menu is a selection of desserts. These include chocolate brownie, sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake of the day.
Karaoke is every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Lewis Capaldi and Ocean Colour Scene have both previously taken part.
