The fifth restaurant from North West star chef Gary Usher is, like its siblings, the result of a successful crowdfunding campaign that was Usher’s most successful yet – Pinion smashed its £50,000 target in an unprecedented 24 hours.
Dishes on the bistro-style menu include the likes of braised feather blade of beef served with truffle and parmesan chips, and pan-roasted cauliflower with apple, caper and parsley, as well as a Sunday roast. Desserts meanwhile include profiteroles topped with a salted caramel sauce, and a steamed lemon suet sponge. Usher plans to open his sixth site, called Kala, in Manchester later this year.
