One of the newer restaurants from this popular chain, Patty & Bun's first South London location continues to serve the brand's signature burgers.
This location is a stripped-back, 'less-is-more' version of the standard Patty & Bun shop, located on the corner of Northcote Road with 35 seats inside and an additional 10 available outside. Decor is simple and casual, with wooden paneling and cafeteria-style tables, red stools and booths, and hanging lights. There are also the standard quirky cartoon drawings scattered on the wall, depicting various burger-related scenes.
Interestingly, this Patty & Bun location also offers Deliveroo from the same shop for the burgers and for the brand's chicken-and-sides sister chain Side-Chick, so diners in the Clapham area could also choose to enjoy their meal at home. Each menu provides all the classic Patty & Bun options, such as the Ari Gold cheeseburger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, ketchup, and smokey P&B mayo on a brioche bun, or the Lambshank Redemption burger with a lamb patty with coriander and chilli, lettuce, buttermilk baby courgettes, pickled aubergine, cumin aioli, and feta on a brioche bun.
All meat in the regular burgers come from dry-aged, grass-fed beef raised in the UK, with halal and vegan options available. Sides include the likes of hand-cut, double fried chips, smoked confit chicken wings, or cheese balls with hot sauce. There are also ice cream sandwiches for dessert.
Diners can wash down their burgers with Patty & Bun's selection of beers, bottles, wine, soft drinks, or house cocktails. There are some fun options like the Cherry Bomb with whiskey, amaretto, lemon juice, cherry syrup, and soda, or the Pineapple Express with vodka, campari, pineapple and lime juice, and bitters - but you could always stick with the classic Margarita or Jamaican Mule if you prefer.
