The two bars at Parr Street’s legendary recording studios must rank among the coolest hangouts in Liverpool. Studio 2 – a stylish, minimalist space with scattered leather sofas – has become
something of a dream ticket for weekend breakfast, but also stages live gigs every day (from jazz grooves to laid-back blues). Alternatively, head upstairs to The Attic (formerly 3345) – a
sprawling, music-themed venue known for its DJs, quizzes and party nights. Drinks include a good selection of real ales, premium spirits and cocktails, while the menu runs from nachos, pulled pork
sandwiches and burgers to bowls of chilli (lunchtime only). There are also several private rooms with beanbags and low seating for those wanting a celebratory bash or get-together. Hotel
accommodation is available above the studios.
