OXBO’s kitchen serves dishes throughout the day – from breakfast, snacks and casual drinking and dining, there is always something cooking up a storm at OXBO. The menu is designed to be hearty, healthy and delicious. You can be sure that whatever you eat at OXBO, the very finest of seasonal and local ingredients have been sourced wherever possible. This truly is comfort food in its best form, so you know you’ll get a wonderful meal each time you dine.
The menu reflects the seasons, so you’ll often see new dishes pop up. In order to keep food as delicious and fresh as possible, much of it is made completely on site, like the freshly baked bread and pastries. If you’re jet setting across the world, your day will be off to a great start with a meal from OXBO. Whilst the restaurant is currently open for breakfast and dinner, the menu has been designed so that guests can drop in and enjoy a three course meal throughout the day, or, something lighter with a cup of coffee. Lighter bites begin the menu, and include a delicious mushroom and English cobnut soup with toasted hazelnuts and sourdough, the spiced cauliflower fritters with a red pepper and sun-dried tomato relish, and beer battered onion rings. The flatbreads are a great option for a lighter meal, and include the avocado and tenderstem broccoli flatbread with smashed beetroot and cannellini beans, spinach, spring onions, creme fraiche, caramelised onion chutney and rocket.
If you have a bigger appetite to appease, try the butter chicken curry with basmati rice, sourdough naan bread, poppadom and mango chutney, or the OXBO burger with brown ale rarebit, two beef patties and all the delicious sides you’d expect from a pub grub burger.
