Looking for a place to grab a quick, healthy and protein-packed meal on the go? Om is the answer. Founded by friends Alex and Max, Om is the home of the rolled omelette, making it easier for people to enjoy their favourite breakfast item on the go. The restaurant opens early for those early-rising breakfast birds, but if you're just after a tasty, healthy meal, you can nip into Om at lunch or dinner time and grab an omelette to go. The concept was born out of the duo’s desire to find a more balanced meal option that delivers on taste, affordability, health, convenience and sustainability. All its omelettes are made using ethically sourced ingredients.
Om is a kiosk available for takeaway located in the heart of Victoria, perfect if you’re in a rush before work and need something quick and filling to fuel your morning.
Choose from one of its signature Oms, or you can build your own if you like. All Oms are named after major global cities – such as the London filled with ham, cheese and onion, or the Milano made with prosciutto, mozzarella and tomato. Customers who want to build their own omelette can do so by choosing a base (eggs or egg whites only), a meat (optional), veg, cheese and any added extras they want.
For those who prefer something sweet in the morning, its signature bircher muesli featuring oats, apple, coconut yoghurt, flaxseeds, chia seeds and maple syrup is sure to fit the bill. Filter coffee, tea and a selection of hot drinks are also available to kickstart your day.
Co-founder Alex used to work in the City as a management consultant before making the switch to Om when he saw a gap in the market for a low-carb, high protein, low-calorie breakfast option. While Max studied hospitality management and has worked in some of the world’s most prestigious hospitality firms. Deciding to focus more on eating smart and living healthily, he helped to launch Om in order to support the community with healthy yet uncompromisingly delicious meals.
