Inspired by Ollie's travels abroad, this vibrant neighbourhood destination serves up pan-Asian cuisine in a comfortable setting. Aiming to transport diners to sunnier climes via fresh Asian flavours and friendly service, Ollie's House is an all-day dining spot serving everything from boozy brunches to light lunches to leisurely evening dinners. The interiors are homely with wooden tables, eclectic textures and soft lighting creating a relaxed ambience. Crucially, the space seamlessly transforms from day to night, with an eclectic mix of live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
If you'll be visiting for brunch, you can enjoy the extensive menu of both British and Asian dishes. Tuck into a full English or try one of the fusion dishes like gochujang eggs benedict or a chicken bao bun with hollandaise. The a la carte dinner menu features plenty of meat, fish and veggie options to suit every taste, budget and occasion. You could begin with chicken gyozas, katsu arancini balls, or tuna tartare with chilli, ginger, avocado and seaweed before moving on to the main event. Warm up on chilly days with a steaming bowl of ramen or Thai green curry, or keep it light and fresh with a poke bowl complete with warm rice, avocado, edamame beans, ginger, radish, seaweed, pickles and your choice of sauce and protein.
On the drinks side of things, the cocktail list at Ollie's House is no doubt the star of the show. Enjoy classics like a Cosmopolitan or Bloody Mary, or try something different like the Lychee Martini, a combination of Holy Grass vodka, lychee juice, coconut syrup and lime. If you'll be visiting with a large group, why not upgrade to a cocktail jewel, a large jug that can fit either eight or 12 cocktails. There are also bubbly cocktails, mocktails, wine and beers should you prefer.
