Have just visited this wonderful restaurant. (14 Jul 2012) It is totally unique, in appearance and design. The food was top quality, and the service was impeccable.
I visited with my bf who is a London black cabbie and was recommended by one of his passengers.
Whilst looking thro the menu, the diners sitting next to us, had their meals served, which looked amazing. I asked what he was eating and he replied the lamb tagine. (he orders the same meal every time) It was out of this world. I would never imagine eating lamb with nuts and fruit.. but it was so tasty.
The waiters were attentive, could not fault one thing about our experience.
The atmosphere is so cosy and friendly. There are still signs of the old fire station, mixed with a middle east feel. The ceiling is made out of suspended gilt picture frames.
We will definately be returning very soon.
Well worthy of a 10 out of 10
