Resurgent Hackney Wick went big with the arrival of this canal-side venue – a four-storey, multi-media events space and art gallery, complete with a bar and trendy open kitchen. Regular jollies take
place every day: Tuesday brings ‘burgers and movies’; Wednesdays might host ‘wickedly live’ (a showcase for local bands) or the Hackney bingo club; Thursdays is reserved for funky soul and
cocktails – and so on. Meanwhile, Number 90’s chefs dish up homemade burgers, grilled dishes and some fusion tapas plates for sharing, to go with a big selection of well-priced booze. There’s
brunch on Saturdays, while Sunday roasts with live jazz bring the curtain down. Also watch out for breakfast in the near future.
