You can now order a 'puppuccino' for your dog at Starbucks

As part of Starbucks’ secret menu you can now order a puppuccino for your dog to enjoy while you get your morning coffee.

You’ve most likely heard of the babyccino, a cup of frothy milk with chocolate shavings on top made especially for your little ones, but now you can get your pup a little treat next time you pop into your local Starbucks.

Unlike the babyccino, a puppuccino is simply a cup of plain whipped cream in a tiny Starbucks cup that is the ideal size for your dog’s nose.

The best part is that the puppuccino doesn’t have any flavourings, sprinkles or added extras that would be unsafe for a dog – it is completely free and safe for them to tuck into.

Although seeing your pup with whipped cream all over their face may be the cutest thing ever and, essential Instagram story content, it is only recommended as a once in a while treat.

If your dog is known to have digestion issues, we recommend you skip out on the puppuccino too as it can cause diarrhoea, vomiting and gas.

The best way to see if a puppuccino is ok for your dog is to start with little amounts of whipped cream at a time before letting them loose on the whole cup. Once you’re sure their tummy is all good, it's all theirs for both of your enjoyment.

Sadly, because they aren’t on the menu, you have to go instore to order a puppuccino, instead of ordering online or via a delivery app. However, it's the perfect excuse for you and your dog to get some exercise and for the general public to witness the cuteness that will likely ensue.

So next time you fancy matching with your pup, instead of letting them have a lick of your highly-caffeinated drink, order them a puppuccino and don’t forget to post a video of them eating it on every social media platform, because this is definitely something everyone will want to see.
