Aperol is throwing two huge parties to celebrate turning 100

This summer, drinks brand Aperol is celebrating its 100th birthday by throwing two huge parties in London and Manchester – and you’re invited.

To celebrate its centenary year, Aperol will host The Aperol Spritz Big Birthday Social, with the festivities kicking off in the capital. Party guests can make their way to the Electric Light Station in Shoreditch, where they’ll find plenty to keep them entertained.

The party will embrace the Italian penchant for living life alfresco, and will include the likes of a lido to dip your toes in (including a flowing orange waterfall) and a giant ball pit in the shape of an Aperol Spritz glass. Guests will also be able to take a ride on the UK’s first revolving Aperol carousel bar.

The celebrations in Shoreditch will run for just over a week, before the party moves on to its next stop in Manchester. Tickets to the event are just £10 per person and the cost of your ticket includes two Aperol Spritz and some Italian aperitivo.

Once the Aperol Spritz Big Birthday Social has exhausted Londoners, it will take a trip up north to keep the party going in Manchester. Setting up camp at The Oast House in the city, guests here will be able to enjoy their drinks on the charming Aperol 100 Piazza, celebrating the milestone birthday by taking a trip on the Aperol carousel bar, and dancing the night away to a bopping soundtrack provided by a roster of live DJs.

For key information on both events, see below:

The Aperol Spritz Big Birthday Social London will run from Thursday 23 May to Saturday 1 June. Tickets cost £10 per person and include two Aperol Spritz and some Italian aperitivo.

The Aperol Spritz Big Birthday Social Manchester will run from Wednesday 19 June to Saturday 23 June. Entry is free and there will be special deals at the bar for Aperol Spritz cocktails.
