Mason’s is a popular location in Liverpool for hen parties, birthday parties, cocktails and bottomless brunch. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with themed walls - think disco walls and neon signs. The restaurant has R&B classics nights every Sunday evening, with two for one cocktails and spirits on offer. Although the team describe Mason’s as an ‘all-day restaurant’, it is really more of an all day and all night restaurant: the music, dancing and drinking start early and finish late.
Monday to Wednesday, from 7am-1pm Mason’s only serves breakfast and lunch. The restaurant has some lighter choices, like the yogurt and granola bowl, topped with strawberry and blueberry compote, and crumpets cooked in-house. It also offers a decadent banoffee French toast, made with brioche soaked in an egg custard, smothered in salted caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream. For those that prefer a more savoury start to the day, try out the ‘Breakfast Hangover Hash’ which comes with chorizo, and mozzarella-topped new potatoes. Thursday through Sunday Mason’s also serves dinner till late. The menu features Beyond Meat burgers in a vegan brioche bun, deep fried chicken burgers and a 10oz ribeye with chimichurri sauce.
The famous Mason’s bottomless brunch runs from 12-5.30pm every Saturday and Sunday, and comes with bottomless Mason’s Mimosas, Prosecco, wine or beer. The menu features eggs Benedict, buttermilk pancakes, avocado toast and chipotle pork flatbread. Every weekend Mason’s hires saxophone musicians to perform during the bottomless brunch for the whole day, as well as DJs in the evening. For those with a sweet tooth the Candy Maker, which comes with candy floss and pink gin, is a must try. Mason’s also offers a two hour and 30 minute cocktail masterclass for just £25 per person, which is open for booking through the restaurant’s website.
