With two established sites already attracting the crowds in Hounslow and Peckham, the team behind Market Place food hall have decided to head to Vauxhall for their third venture. Designed to cater for small or up-and-coming businesses, Market Place takes up residence in unique and dynamic settings across London in order to highlight some of the city’s best independent vendors. Its goal is to support independent business owners and remove the barriers many start-up food and drinks vendors face in order to start or grow. Similarly to its first two sites, this Vauxhall venture aims to provide guests with an exciting range of affordable street food stalls.
You can find it underneath the arches next door to Vauxhall station, where it houses 12 restaurant spaces, a standalone bar, a DJ booth and seating for 200 people. Guests are able to sample a range of global cuisines, from wood-fired pizza by Made in Puglia, to Mexican tacos by Hermano Tacos, Sri Lankan hoppers and kottu from Karapincha Kitchen and Jamaican jerk chicken and rum punch by Rudie’s Jerk Shack.
Whether you’re popping in for a quick lunch or heading there with a large group for an evening of awesome drinks and great food, Market Place Vauxhall is suited to parties large and small. A variety of seating ensures that all meal occasions are taken care of: discover relaxed wooden benches and chilled-out stool seating, as well as intimate green booths under twinkling fairy lights and trailing foliage. Plenty of neon signage lights up each street food stall, while a back lit bar flagged by a wall of ivy is difficult to miss.
The food hall is open all day every day, staying open until the early hours of the morning on Fridays and Saturdays for guests to eat and drink the night away.
