Madhu’s Brasserie in Richmond is the second from the brand, following their first restaurant on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge. The all-day Indian dining restaurant offers a contemporary and sophisticated take on Indian cuisine with the menu designed in partnership with award-winning royal caterers Madhu’s.
Located on Sheen Road mere moments from the centre of Richmond, the dining room offers diners both comfort and luxury with emerald green leather chairs, dark wooden floors and decorative wallpaper. Integral to Madhu Brasseries cooking style and dishes are the tandoor oven and robata grill, with guests able to sit at the counter and watch the chefs cook up freshly-baked bread and roasted meats while they dine.
The menu features a host of traditional and authentic dishes reinterpreted in new and inventive ways. A dedicated selection of signature toasted wraps served warm in a soft roomali roti or tandoori naan feature fillings such as chilli chicken, marinated paneer and minced lamb. While starters include playful twists on Indian snacks such as palak patta chaat, made with British samphire and crispy spinach leaves, as well as robata grills and toasted wraps.
Main courses consist of familiar favourites such as masala fish and fragrant chicken biryani, alongside signatures such as Masaledar Kuku – whichi is Madhu’s trademark chicken thighs – and crowd-pleasing makhani dal (a creamy and buttery black dal from New Dehli). Alternatively, guests can enjoy a little of everything with a Thali option, including meat-free and vegan variations, presented on a striking copper crescent plate.
Madhu's Brasserie was initially formed back in 2020 by friends Sanjay and Arjun in response to the Covid crisis when people were unable to dine at restaurants. Wanting to offer high quality, takeaway Indian dishes for people to enjoy at home, Madhu's Brasserie was born.
