Bringing the spirit of Mexico to the heart of Liverpool, this is the place for beer, tacos, tostados and Tequila. Using a combination of imported Mexican produce and the best that the UK has to offer, this is a true celebration of street food. Think proper south-of-the-border cooking, with not one reference to the Tex side of things (no oversize steak or Buffalo sauce in sight). Instead, diners get to feast on guacamole served with homemade tacos and chicken tamales, and there are enchiladas and burritos of all description. We’re particularly taken with the beef brisket version, which comes with green rice, sour cream and the aforementioned guacamole, as well as the likes of margarita salmon ceviche. Cheesecakes, churros and chocolatey quesadillas top the list of the punch-packing puds.
