Encouraged by the success of the White Rabbit in Stoke Newington, its owners have opened a new hooch hutch pitched at trendy Shoreditch bunnies. The deconstructed interior of a former fashion
wholesale unit (funked up with tacky Louis XVI repro) now sets the scene for some curious sips that may or may not yell ‘DRINK ME!’ – depending whether you fancy shelling out £12.50 on fancies such
as pop goes the walrus (a buttered popcorn-infused bourbon and caramel sundae) Alternatively, sip Looking Glass fizz (stewed ‘brambly’ apples, blackcurrant, gingerbread and Prosecco), or go Mad
Hatter-ish with high tea (vodka, strawberry jam, milk, rum and raisin ice cream). However, the small post-nuclear parlour bar is only half the story: beyond is a slightly larger, mirror-image
lounge, where DJs, live bands and burlesque are part of the mix.
