Las Iguanas Liverpool is one branch of a popular restaurant chain serving Latin American food and cocktails. At the Liverpool One location there is a large outdoor seating area, so it’s a great place to have some nachos with friends on warm summer days.
Las Iguanas offers bottomless brunch for £29.95, and Sunday to Wednesday diners can upgrade to a bottomless cocktail brunch for just £5. The cocktail brunch includes Brazil’s favourite cocktail, the Caipirinha, as well as Cuba Libres. The brunch menu at Las Iguanas includes cheesy, chipotle enchiladas as well as breakfast burritos which can be made vegan or gluten free. So, if you fancy something different from the usual eggs and Hollandaise affair for brunch, Las Iguanas is a great place to check out.
For mains meals, Las Iguanas has introduced a taco sharing board which comes with four different dips as well as coriander, lime and coleslaw. The tacos can then be filled with a range of fillings, which include smoked chipotle chicken or vegan cheese and cashew cream. The most popular sharing option however is probably Las Iguanas’ nachos, which come with all the same fixings as the tacos, plus refried beans. Other popular starters and tapas include the quesadillas and chicken wings. If you love chilli, try the chicken wings with the super hot habanero sauce. For mains, the Brazilian xinxim is particularly popular. It is made with chicken and crayfish, and is served with coconut farofa and plantain.
The two for one cocktails are particularly popular, and run all day Sunday to Thursday, and until 7pm on Friday and Saturday. The two for one cocktail list changes every month, and also includes mocktails. For those not in the mood for cocktails, Las Iguanas also offers a range of Prosecco, wine and beer.
