From the same team behind the ever-popular Sky Garden comes Larch, a modern Italian trattoria that celebrates the best seasonal British produce via simple and authentic dishes. Located at 1 Sky Garden Walk, the café, bar and restaurant features a casual neighbourhood eatery within, as well as an expansive al fresco terrace for dining during warmer weather. So, whether it’s a speedy working lunch or after-work drinks in the heart of the City, Larch brings plenty of charm to London’s concrete jungle.
The menu champions authentic and familiar dishes including cicchetti, antipasti, pasta and pizza, alongside main plates and classic desserts. Starters might include the likes of truffle arancini, bruschetta and calamari, while those looking to enjoy everyone's favourite Italian cheese and do so at the Burrata Bar. Here, guests can order burrata three ways: Sicilian aubergine ragu with green olives, peas, broad bean, mint and preserved lemons, and Datterini tomatoes with basil and olive oil.
Signature main courses include ragú bolognese, pomodoro, and brocolli e salsicia, while oozy risottos and crowd-pleasing pizzas make for more indulgent dining. Elsewhere, lighter mains include sea bass with cannellini beans and shaved fennel, parmigiana di melenzana and a classic Caesar salad.
On the drinks front, discover a concise selection of Italian wines, alongside refreshing aperitivos and classic cocktails. Beers, ciders and spirits are also available if preferred.
Rhubarb Hospitality Collection have taken inspiration from Sky Garden when it comes to the interiors at Larch. Drawing on the theme of nature vs the city, guests can look forward to eye-catching design elements such as a bespoke oak honeycomb tile bar designed to look like the inside of a beehive. Elsewhere, specially-commissioned painted murals tell the story of an ever-changing landscape as nature meets the city.
