Easy, tasty, fresh and simple is the key to this Japanese. The name refers to the conveyor belt that carries offerings from the menu, both hot and cold, around the restaurant so that diners can help themselves. This is not a new concept (it’s something that Londoners know well, but this outfit does it very successfully) and this is the third site for the company in the City, thanks to the Copthall Avenue and Appold Street branches both developing a loyal following. Each of the restaurants prepares and cooks its own menu, so quality in one is not a guarantee in another, but we’re fairly certain this new addition will be up to scratch. Favourite dishes include lip-numbing chilli baby squid, teriyaki chicken wings and the zingy yellowtail tiradito.
