Our first restaurant! An old Black Country boozer ‘The Commercial’ dating back to 1861, popular from the 70s through the 90s, finally closed its doors in around the late ’00s, pictured here in ’97.
It later reopened as an Italian restaurant called ‘Bella Italia’. We took it over in 2011, worked our magic, added our trademark classical hand-painted Michelangelo murals by local artist Geoff Tristram to set the scene; it is now the unique, landmark, best Italian restaurant for miles around.
Our reputation for fine, modern Italian cuisine with first class service spread rapidly, we were soon attracting discerning diners from all parts of the region and beyond, whilst gaining 5 star reviews in the local press!
