OPENS 2019
This intimate operation from chef Jason Atherton can be found right next door to his Michelin-starred restaurant Pollen Street Social in a space which was previously rented out for fashion and art pop ups. The restaurant only has 16 seats and Atherton calls it “our Araki” in reference to the three-Michelin-starred Japenese chef's counter round the corner, although he insists he has no Michelin-starred aspirations for the venture.
H.O.M.E (the capitals are stylistic, rather than an acronym) will act as a creative outlet for Atherton, and will be less structured than his flagship restaurant next door. The kitchen serves up a multi-course set menu which is inspired by the chef’s travels around the world and guests can buy individual tickets to sit at the table, rather than hire the space exclusively for group use. This is because Atherton wants to keep the experience about the food, rather than have it become a party venue. Watch this space for more details.
