Hill & Szrok is a whole carcass butcher and cookshop that's located in Broadway Market in East London. Whilst you may walk in to find that you're surrounded by raw meats, come nighttime, the marble chopping block is wiped clean and set for 12, before being laid with candles and ready for dinner service. Butcher Tom Richardson Hill, chef Alex Szrok and manager Luca Mahiszig-Lee will take good care of you, presenting you with a blackboard menu that includes a small selection of classics and some more interesting finds that have been sourced from small farms.
Expect to find a few steak options, duck breast, thick chops, spit roasted pork leg, house cured bacon sausages, lamb rocks, hearts, tongues and tails on the menu.
