Just round the corner from Stratford station, you’ll find Heavenly Desserts. This upmarket dessert destination has everything sweet you could possibly crave, from mochi to milkshakes. The chain, which was founded in 2008, has been delighting hungry diners all over the world with its selection of sweet treats. Now, boasting over 15 locations in the UK alone, Heavenly Desserts shows no signs of slowing down. This particular site is larger than most and also has the added benefit of an outside area, perfect for enjoying a cooling sundae in the sun. Its proximity to the shopping centre also makes it the ideal spot for a sugary boost after shopping.
Those just ordering drinks are well catered to (although we recommend staying for food too). All the cafe classics like tea and coffee are available, as well as hot chocolate and soft drinks. Smoothies include mango and passion fruit or strawberry and lime, while milkshake options feature the likes of cookie blast or mint chocolate chip. While the restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, there are mocktails such as virgin mojitos, raspberry temptation and tropical passion. For something extra refreshing, try the cloudy lemonades, which include unique flavours like blood orange or rose.
Part of the fun at Heavenly Desserts is that you can opt to build your own. First, you choose from one of the nine bases: American waffle, Belgian waffle, pancakes, crepes, cake, cheesecake, cookie dough, brownies or croffles (a delicious waffle/croissant hybrid). Then, you load on your sauces (such as toffee fudge, custard and maple syrup) and toppings (such as Ferrero Rocher and caramelised hazelnuts). Finally, add up to four scoops of gelato to complete your own unique creation! If you’d rather not build your own dessert, there are plenty of house options to choose from, including sundaes, sticky toffee pudding, tiramisu, black forest brownie and more.
