Harvester - The Five Bells

We booked a table for five for this years Christmas dinner. Service was excellent so this review is not about staff. The starter was fair along with desert. However the dinner was far short of what was expected. The potatoes and veg appeared to be a budget frozen packet variety containing inedible thumbnail size sprouts (4 off) that were like bullets along with pathetic hard carrots. Needless to say I never ate the veg at all. I only wished I'd taken a picture of the so called Christmas dinner. I eat every day in  greasy spoon cafes and can honestly say never been served crap like that. Our total spend for 5 of us was £288 including drinks for a very, never mind second rate, but third or fourth rate meal. That's us done Harvester. We feel totally ripped off. Once again the staff were excellent.
