If you're a fan of all things green, both on your plate and in your surroundings, then Harvest is the place to be. Harvest is an all-day modern British restaurant - the latest in a group that also includes acclaimed restaurants Parlour Six and Portland Road. Like it's older siblings, Harvest has moved into north west London, bringing its seasonal philosophy to Kensal Rise.
Chef Jesse Dunford Wood, the mastermind behind Harvest and its siblings, leads the kitchen with an all-day dining experience that kicks off at 8am with a delightful English breakfasts, Allpress coffee and pastries. If you're looking for something more unique and greener, don't miss the breakfast crumpet, which is packed with broccoli, courgettes, spinach, and topped with green eggs.
The menu showcases contemporary vegetarian dishes, British coastal fish, and locally sourced meat, thanks to Chef Wood's extensive network of local suppliers. Coluors, seasonality, and a laid-back atmosphere are the signature elements of Dunford Wood's culinary style. What adds to the charm of the experience are the open spaces the restaurant cherishes. Alongside the cozy indoor seating for 40 guests, there's a heated covered garden tucked away in the back for 30, as well as a plant-filled terrace at the front. Natural light truly is the highlight here.
During lunch and dinner, indulge in tasty offerings such as duck liver profiteroles, Tamworth pork schnitzel, and family-style meat and fish cuts to share. There are options for vegetarians too, including grilled cauliflower steak with green sauce, and courgette flower with semolina chips. And fear not, they have plenty of options for kids and a diverse non-alcoholic beverage selection for those craving a refreshing drink without the alcohol.
