Iconic rock ‘n’ roll-themed Hard Rock Café originally opened in 1971 in London, on Mayfair’s Old Park Lane. It's now one of the most globally recognised companies in the world, being established in over 74 countries, but it all started right here. Synonymous with its legendary burgers, live music and memorabilia-filled interiors, Hard Rock Café is a place for everyone to eat, drink and mingle.
Celebrating the culture of hard rock, Hard Rock Café is more than just a restaurant. Discover a rock ‘n’ roll museum at this Mayfair site, The Vault, which houses a treasure trove of music memorabilia. And don’t miss its Back Room Bar, a fun and trendy place to hang out over awesome cocktails, American dishes and, if you get there early, a great-value happy hour.
The menu is all about fast food and American favourites. Starters feature an all-beige line-up of nachos, wings and sliders, but it’s the restaurant’s Legendary Burger that has become a core part of the Hard Rock experience. Filled with a fresh steak patty, smoked bacon, Cheddar cheese, a crispy onion ring, lettuce tomato and its signature steak sauce on the side, it makes a pretty mega main. There are plenty more options on the menu though, from a classic cheeseburger to vegan and veggie variations. Mains do tend to be the meatier sort, and you can expect grills and barbecued meats to comprise the rest of the offering.
To finish, bigger is better when it comes to dessert. Indulgent options such as a hot fudge brownie with ice cream and fudge sauce, New York cheesecake and a diner-style milkshake will have you rolling out the door.
Of course, enthusiastic staff and a relaxed atmosphere make it a great place to bring family and friends, with a dedicated kid's menu to keep little ones happy.
