We got the fish & chips and Grilled Seabrass and both look good but we have to add salt & pepper to really taste it. The choices of food & non-alcoholic drinks are limited. Would be a more value-for-money of choice if we are going for lunch instead of dinner as some of the dishes are provided as lunch set with a lower price. The restaurant is medium-size, we were seated in the inner area. It took so long for a waiter to come over just to pass us the dessert menu(15-20 mins) after clearing our dishes, they are chatting at the bar area unless they have to deliever food/drink.

Great place for fish!
Visited with some good friends based upon reviews from this site only. Admittedly we did start the evening with a few happy hour cocktails down the road at The Marlybone Bar so already in a jolly mood! Very impressed with food and choice. Good wine list. Friendly and tolerant staff given we were probably quite loud. Only small criticism was cramped table but still leaving full marks. Recommend the salmon in Hendricks starter followed by fish and chips. Washed down with Spanish red and house Sauvignon Blanc. Try it!

It's not cheap but then fresh fish never is! Great service, especially from the tall smiling manageress. Lots of flavours and choice. Lovely puddings, decent wine selection.

At last, an unpretentious restaurant that just delivers good food and great service. After a recent run of less then impressive, overpriced, pretentious restaurants around Marylebone, it was great to go somewhere that served fresh simply cooked but delicious food(fish in this case). The service was unobtrusive and that is a delight. The sea bream was cooked to prefection, as fish should be, on the bone, well seasons and fresh, no need to mask with creamy sauce. Nice to be able to choose a carafe of wine, as a bottle would have been to much. Service with a smile, and fairly priced for the area. If you want decent fish this is the place, if you want poncey service, try elsewhere.

A pleasant lunch
I had booked Fishworks for a business lunch as it was a convenient location, had good reviews and a 50% off food offer. I had a fish soup to start which was excellent. Both my guest and I had sea bass and both were a little overcooked which was a little disappointing for a restaurant specialising in fish. However, it is a lovely place, the service was good, and so was the espresso, so I think I will try it again. May be we were just unlucky with the sea bass…
