Fazenda, Manchester is a South American inspired restaurant located in popular Spinningfields, ideally positioned for those looking to stop off for a post-shopping cocktail or a bite to eat. The interior is vibrant and contemporary, with soft lighting and a large bar area with stools. There is also a private dining area which features a large dining table looking onto the restaurant from its glass panelled wall.
The restaurant serves a fine selection of grilled meats and side dishes, served directly to your table. Each table is given a card which is placed green-side up to indicate you would like the chef to serve you more sizzling Brazilian and Argentinian meats and skewers. When you’ve had enough simply turn your card red-side-up to indicate you’d like to stop or to pause.
Fazenda Manchester is open daily serving lunch and dinner. If you’re heading there for an evening meal you will find dishes such as the file-mignon, rib eye, and sirloin on offer, as well as a marinated lamb leg, chicken hearts and a special cut of meat selected by the chef. You can select any of the speciality sauces to accompany your dish from classic peppercorn to cheese, or perhaps you may go for the Brazilian pepper dressing.
Side dishes include truffle fries, long rice with onion, garlic cream mushrooms or mixed greens (to name a few). If you’re looking for vegetarian dishes you will find a separate menu which offers a small selection of dishes such as beetroot and goats cheese pasta, and pumpkin risotto. There is also a vegan stew, and a black truffle and wild mushroom risotto.
There is a large drinks and cocktail menu available, including a wine menu. Desserts include a selection of Brazilian sweet treats – six mini desserts to taste, as well as larger plates such as white chocolate and passionfruit cheesecake, and their signature dessert - a rich chocolate base topped with dulce de leche and whipped cream.
