Talia Prince is the creative mind behind EVE Kensington, a Mediterranean restaurant in West London. Dealing in sharing plates, seasonal dishes and a convivial atmosphere, EVE has become a go-to for anyone craving a high end option for Greek or Middle Eastern food.
After holding positions in many of the world's finest restaurants and having worked in the Michelin-star kitchens of Le Gavroche and The Fat Duck, Prince brings her wide ranging experience to EVE for a simple yet elegant dining experience.
Located in the Ember Locke Hotel on Cromwell Road, guests are welcomed by a colourful, classy environment. The restaurant’s giant windows flood the room with light. This beautiful room aims to take you out of rainy London a couple of hours and transport you directly to the Lebanese riviera.
To start, the smokey almond hummus and creamy aubergine baba ganoush are a necessary stop on the EVE journey. After that, some must-try dishes are the spicy chicken skewers served with a turmeric yoghurt, the tender lamb kefta and the green asparagus complete with dukkah tahini sauce, wild garlic and capers.
Prince knows her way around Mediterranean classics too, from a tangy fattoush, to harissa fried potatoes, not forgetting roasted cauliflower seasoned with their Yemeni inspired Zhoug mayo.
Meanwhile, the bar remains dedicated to weekend brunch classics, coffees, juices and the signature smoky Bloody Mary are central to your trip to EVE, whilst cocktails often feature Middle Eastern spirits.
Open all day, this is a perfect option for a late weekend lunch with family or friends and should appeal to just about everyone - vegetarians included.
