Located in the heart of Kensington, Enoteca Rosso knows a thing or two about Italian cuisine. Specialising in foods and wines from the area, guests can enjoy a range of freshly made pasta paired alongside bottles of wines that aren't often found outside of Italy.
Providing the complete experience, take a seat in this quaint little bistro-style spot. Giving the impression of a converted warehouse, pipes still hang from the ceilings, with wooden tables and an added pops of colour and an abundance of plants amongst a neutral backdrop. A large and well-stocked bar sits in the centre of the room, adding a sense of theatre as guests can watch their drinks being made. Large geometric wine racks span the walls, packed full of bottles that are just waiting to be ordered.
An on-site deli has been here since 2021, offering over 1,000 products to customers to help them to recreate their favourite dishes from the comfort of their homes. Counters packed full of fresh meats and cheeses can be seen as you dine, taking up its spot in the heart of the dining area.
The kitchen here is headed up by Kim Arieta, bringing his knowledge of Italian cooking to the menus, drawing in from Mediterranean and French dishes as well in his experimental dishes. Lunch, dinner and aperitivo menus are on offer at Enoteca Rosso, catering for all types of visits. Why not tuck into the likes of pecorino and pepper filled ravioli or the chef's daily risotto for a primo, followed by lamb fillet with sauteed peas served on creamy celeriac to follow. Desserts are classic Italian - with menus that can include a deconstructed tiramisu or a traditional cocoa and amaretti Piedmont biscuit cake.
Extensive lists of Italian wines or classic cocktails are available to help wash everything down. A spritz or two is sure to make you feel like you’re on holiday as you dine!
