They say that good things come in small packages, and at DE NADAS the aim is to prove it. With an entire menu focused on Argentinian empanadas, this effortlessly cool and casual spot brings a new niche to West London for both dine in and takeaway. With a focus on quality over quantity, you’ll not find much else on the menu other than a pot of chimichurri, and a small deli for those visiting the store. Although sparse, the deli provides some traditional Argentinian treats like Yerba Matte, a popular herbal tea, and Alfajores, a thick layer of dulche de leche sandwiched between two cookies.
With an official title as London’s first empanadería, the team is paving the way to create a new cult following of the pocket-sized pastries. Made with 100% Argentinian dough and baked, not fried, there are 15 different shapes of hand-crafted empanadas on offer, with a mix of meat, vegetarian and plant-based options. With fillings ranging from spicy lamb to blue cheese and pear or even a vegan option of butternut squash and kale, all bases have been covered as far as flavours are concerned. More than just being an expert on empanadas, this small shop also offers a great selection wine available to discover. For groups of up to 10 people, a wine and empanada tasting is available, which will see you dine amongst London’s largest selection of malbecs and vermouths, to give you a true taste of Buenos Aires.
Also available for catering services from parties and corporate events to weddings, DE NADAS offers boxes of one, nine or 100 at a time. The deals don't stop there. There's also a lunch time offer which sees three empanadas paired with salad throughout the week between 11-3pm. Bringing its own dose of South American sunshine via the illuminous yellow branding, the empanada here are a charming little pick-me-up to brighten your day
