A town in Kent, Dartford is located less than 20 miles south-east of London, and so is a popular choice with commuters. There's plenty to do in Dartford, including visiting Central Park which lies in the heart of Dartford and is a beautiful outdoor community space that hosts the annual Dartford Festival each July. Just to the west of Dartford is where you'll find Bluewater, one of the most popular shopping centres in the whole of the UK. For a bit of a fun fact, you may be interested to learn that Dartford is the birthplace of Rolling Stones members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. If you're looking for something else to do, you should pay a visit to Dartford Museum, which is famous for being the first modern museum in the country, and has exhibits of Anglo-Saxon cemeteries along with objects from the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
