This family-run Spanish restaurant is named after the owner’s two children and has a heavy focus on healthy eating. The pride of Dan & Angel’s shabby-chic interiors is the restaurant’s wood-fired pizza oven, but don’t be fooled by the seemingly carb-heavy menu: pizza bases here are made with the likes of quinoa, mixed seed, wholegrain and natural cornmeal.
Diners can opt for a vegan pizza complete with toppings of tomato sauce, Mediterranean ratatouille and herbs, or go for meatier alternatives including toppings of Spanish chorizo or pepperoni. Aside from pizzas, there are tapas dishes such as vegan bruschetta or a Spanish tortilla, while mains see chicken and chorizo pasta, a seafood linguine or mushroom risotto.
