Cucina di Vincenzo is a family run Italian restaurant in Liverpool. Since opening in 2016, the restaurant has been run in line with its owners’ ethos of love for family and food – and putting the two together to create a wonderful dining experience. The family who own Cucina di Vincenzo emphasise their belief that ‘eating out is a celebration of people coming together’, something which really shines through in the restaurant’s menu and warm, relaxed atmosphere.
The food at Cucina di Vincenzo is classic Italian cuisine – tasty, hearty, and fun. Freshly sourced ingredients are pulled together to create authentic Italian plates and flavours for diners. An impressive menu sees a selection of sharers, antipasti, pasta, meat, fish, and salads come together to spoil diners for choice.
To share, there are platters of crispy fried calamari, prawns, seabass, and garlic and lemon mayonnaise, as well as of sliced cured meats, burrata, assorted grilled vegetables. As for antipasti, you’ll find a huge selection of plates with something to please everyone, including homemade meatballs in pomodoro sauce, crab and prawn fishcakes, arancini, and of course a classic bruschetta. Pasta is done in a variety of ways, from lasagne to authentic carbonara, seafood ravioli to spaghetti pomodoro. Sides are pleasing and equally Italian, with roast potatoes seasoned with rosemary and parmesan, buttered chantenay carrots, and parmesan and truffle oil fries.
If you’re looking for a private event space, there is the option for private dining for up to 35 guests at Cucina di Vincenzo, at which you and your guests can order from a set Italian menu.
With such an impressive Italian offering, you might understand why Cucina di Vincenzo was the winner of ‘Best Family Restaurant in England’ at the English Italian Awards 2018. What you’re getting here is authentic Italian cuisine in a warm, cosy space.
