The second London installment of glamorous Italian restaurant Crazy Pizza finds its home in Knightsbridge. Crazy Pizza is part of the Billionaire Life brand formed by ex Formula 1 pro and entrepreneur, Flavio Briatore. The restaurant already boasts locations in Porto Cervo, Monte Carlo and London’s Marylebone and is known for not using yeast in its dough, which makes for a thinner and crispier pizza base that doesn’t leave you feeling bloated.
Crazy Pizza Knightsbridge is situated on Hans Crescent, just a short walk away from legendary department store Harrods. The dining room here is a sleek and sophisticated affair, boasting floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light, as well as black and white portraits lining the walls which depict famous celebrities munching on pizza. Polished concrete floors and golden accents tie the space together, while you can often find DJs playing live sets of vintage tunes, with diners encouraged to sing (and dance) along. If you would rather dine alfresco, grab a table on the street-side terrace which offers excellent people watching of well-heeled Knightsbridge locals.
The menu at Crazy Pizza Knightsbridge consists of a mixture of classic and ‘crazy’ pizzas, the latter being a by-word for luxury (note the Tartufo which is crowned with copious shavings of fresh black truffle and white truffle extra virgin oil). While pizzas are the stars of the show, guests are also able to tuck into fresh salads, mozzarella which is made fresh on site every day, and indulgent desserts which are finished off table-side for an extra dash of theatre. On the menu, expect to find the likes of a crab salad and smoked salmon on toast, alongside sweet treats of tiramisu and vanilla and pistachio gelato.
Accompanying the food is a selection of house cocktails, Champagnes and vintage wines.
