Manchester’s Corn Exchange is full of delicious food and drink offerings, and one of these is the Cosy Club. Though Cosy Club is a chain of restaurants, the Manchester site doesn’t necessarily scream ‘chain’. Cosy Club Manchester’s interior vibe is warm, eclectic, and indeed cosy. Mismatched furniture, bright colours, and hanging paintings give a homey atmosphere of sorts, particularly if you’re lucky enough to be seated in one of Cosy Club’s huge armchairs.
Cosy Club Manchester is an appropriate spot for any meal of the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner – there’s even a great bottomless brunch for £35 per person. The food menus are huge, so much so that you might struggle to make your choice. At breakfast, there are plenty of variations on a full English – classic, ‘butcher’s’, Boston, and vegan, for example. There’s also smashed avocado, shakshuka, and buttermilk pancakes, amongst other things.
The lunch menu is extensive, so you’re spoilt for choice even if you’re not going out for a fancy evening dinner. There are various burgers and sandwiches accompanied by fries, small plates like arancini, bang bang cauliflower, and garlic prawns, as well as some larger plates like salmon fishcakes, and mushroom and mascarpone risotto.
Dinner features lots of the same options as lunch, with some new additions. You might find the buttermilk fried chicken with fries, slaw, and smoked red pepper aioli particularly enticing, or perhaps the harissa torn lamb shoulder, with spiced cauliflower puree, tzatziki, flatbread, pomegranate, crispy slaw, and crispy chickpeas. Cosy Club doesn’t necessarily stick to a particular cuisine, so no matter what you’re craving you’ll more than likely be able to find something that hits the spot.
If you’re looking for a special, intimate meal, Manchester’s site has two rooms available for private hire. There’s no hiring fee, but you do have to reach a minimum spend and minimum number of guests.
