This restaurant group has capitalised on the nation’s obsession with roast chicken, now opening its third site (following Notting Hill and a delivery-only outpost in Battersea) entirely dedicated to the stuff. French chickens that have grown up and lived outdoors are marinated for 24 hours, before being cooked in the rotisserie and served up with salads, truffled mac ‘n’ cheese or potatoes roasted in chicken dripping. Sold as wholes, halves and quarters, choose your size and a sauce that suits your palate, from garlic mayo to coriander pesto. Take away for a super supper or al-desko lunch or eat in the simple but comfortable restaurant, where there’s a short wine list and the likes of chocolate brownies to finish.
