Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro is a traditional Italian restaurant based in Knightsbridge, which is full of life and history, having being open for over 40 years. The historic spot not only serves up classic dishes but boasts live music every night of the week. Restaurant founder, Ciro Orsini, brings the energy and passion with his bold character and unique dress sense, drawing in diners and famous figures alike. Start with a selection of authentic Italian dishes including the avocado con gamberi, a shrimp cocktail with avocado. For mains, choose from a variety of salads, pastas, pizza, and special dishes such as the pollo al funghi, a grilled chicken breast topped with a creamy sauce and button mushrooms. With many classic pizza options on the menu, guests are spoilt for choice and can opt for a gluten-free base. Try the Texas Ranger with jalapeño peppers, meatballs, chilli con carne, BBQ sauce, rocket and black olives, and have the proceeds donated to the Emergency Fund for Law Enforcement. The dessert menu has a range of dishes including profiteroles, soufflé and tiramisu.
Every night from 9.15pm, Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro hosts different genres of live music. On Monday, the eight-piece band performs, while on Tuesdays, it’s ladies night where ladies receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco with every main meal and enjoy 50% off wine by the glass while listening to funk, reggae and jazz by the resident artist.
Wednesday is diva night where big-voiced female singers belt out favourite pop numbers and Thursday is Latino night. Friday to Sunday plays pop, rock and soul. If it’s your birthday or you’re celebrating something special, the musicians will serenade you with well wishes. The restaurant is also open late, taking final orders at 1am, perfect for those late night food missions.
