Since 2014, Chucs has been furnishing the city with smart Italian restaurants inspired by 1950s Italia, the golden dolce vita years and the riviera lifestyle. With a collection of four sites, it has spots in some of London's most fashionable postcodes, serving up authentic Italian cuisine.
Chucs Cafe Chelsea offers a more relaxed iteration of the brand's signature style. Inside, you'll still find marble-topped tables, squishy booth seating and walls decorated with Slim Aarons style photos. The ambience is cosy and laid-back, perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner with friends or colleagues.
A great place to go for a cup of Joe, Chucs Cafe Chelsea works with Difference Coffee (known for purveying the 'world's best coffee'), and serves up an all day menu spanning brunch, starters, mains and Chucs classics. Start your day right with something from the brunch selection like house granola with strawberries and yoghurt, poached eggs with smashed avocado on sourdough or the Chucs breakfast, with sausage, black pudding, roasted tomato, Cotswolds bacon and Paddock Farm sausage.
For lunch and dinner, you could try a selection of cicchetti plates such as carpaccio of beef and grilled prawns with garlic and chilli, alongside some classic aperitivo drinks. Enjoy a Bellini Elderflower or glass of crisp champagne, or a Plum and Orange Spritz, Aperol Spritz or Riviera Negroni. If a hearty main is what you're after, there's lobster linguine, bigoli cacio e pepe and spaghetti pomodoro across the pasta selection, as well as pizzas, like a crowd-pleasing margherita and the Chucs truffle-based specialty. If you're really hungry, though, dig into the Chucs burger, which comes with cheddar, bacon and fries.
When it comes to dessert, Chucs tiramisu is a must-try, but the ricotta and vanilla cheesecake sounds good, too. On the Italian theme, Chucs offers a selection of classic cocktails, so why not top it all off with an Aperol Spritz or Riviera Negroni.
